On September 18, 2008, Dow Jones & Company announced that Kraft Foods Incorporated will replace American International Group Incorporated in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) effective September 22, 2008.

The last change to the DJIA was on February 19, 2008 when Bank of America Corporation and Chevron Corporation replaced Altria Group Incorporated and Honeywell International Incorporated.
