Overview
The Dow Jones Contrarian Opportunities Indexes℠ are transparent, rules-based tools for benchmarking contrarian investment strategies. The indexes are designed to systematically measure the performance of stocks that lag behind the broader market in terms of recent performance, but that outrank their peers based on fundamentals-based and other qualitative criteria.
Currently available is the Dow Jones U.S. Contrarian Opportunities Index℠, which covers U.S.-traded stocks. The family is expected to expand to cover additional markets.
